The high quality of INTERPLAST ISO-Drain dimpled sheet is ensured
by expertly engineered production processes and advanced
manufac-
turing equipment. All production equipment used is developed
in-
house by the INTERPLAST engineering staff to ensure highly
innova-
tive, reliable and economical manufacturing. Producing on several extrusion lines, INTERPLAST has extensive capacity including one of the largest lines in Europe which produces sheet widths of up to 4 m, providing users decisive competitive advantages.
The Inline Process
The Inline Process is a specially conceived fabrication procedure for sheet materials with thermoformed dimple texturing. It is made up of several process steps, all carried out inline. The thermoplastic raw
material is first melted and homogenized in an extrusion process. This creates a sheet which is then calendered for uniform thickness. Next, the sheet is textured by thermoforming and finally rolled up for compact storage and transport.
